The “Dollyverse” is Dolly Parton’s new partnership with FOX Entertainment’s Blockchain Creative Labs and New York Times best-selling novelist James Patterson.
She will release not only NFTS, but a book, a music album and a performance at this month's South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, all included in the purchase of her non fungible tokens.
“I’m almost always up for trying something new and different,” Parton said. The collaboration with the novelist James Patterson includes the co-writing of the novel “Run, Rose, Run”, the story of a singer-songwriter in the run in Nashville.
The world of the metaverse is increasingly attracting artists like Snoop Dog and big brands like Gucci and Coca Cola to create their own assets in this new virtual world, and the country star is not far behind.
